Does someone have the generic parts number for the housing yoke seal? I’ve bought several and they do not fit to the tail housing and and I’m tired of buying something that’s not working.
Thanks in advance

So you are looking for a 904 output seal? I believe there are a few different ones but you may get a replacement without the balloon style seal/vent . Although that's what you want. IF you believe the tailshaft is original to the transmission you can use the pk # from above the pan rail to determine year. There are plenty of mopar transmission number charts around. Good luck

This one

4 Seals for the extension housing on a 904, 2 with a boot, 2 without a boot.
1966 to 1972 without a boot 2.254" o.d
1973 to 2003 with or without a boot 2.375" o.d
and lastly 1973 to 2003 2.445" o.d.
Hope this helps.

Two seals were used between 1965 and 1976 on 904 transmissions.
Timken 8935s from 65 to 72
Timken 2506 from 72 to 76
1972 could have either one depending on the PK number.
Since transmission could have been changed over the years, it would help to have the PK number stamped on the pan rail.
