I think the comodor came out after the Radio Shack color computer that I had

half of those are at least 70s and some are 60s and if you ask how I know well "up your nose with a rubber hose"8)

P.S. the c64 was the one that buried radio shack { Tandy } computers and the next machine Commodore sold the Amiga was the first talking home computer not to mention full motion colour graphics and stereo sound when Microsloth was still black and white one screen pic at a time with no onboard audio

Yep, the C64 came out and absolutely killed off the Radio Shack TRS-80 (my first computer).

I remember when the C64 came out, I was in my sophomore or junior year of high school by then. A friend whose parents had money had one with the optional "cassette tape memory storage".

I also remember when the "Brady Bunch" was on prime time T.V., 7:00 pm on Friday nights. In my defense I was really young, lol.

We had one elective class we could take when I was senior that had anything to do with computers and that was BASIC programing. I came up with a program that ran on a giant floppy disk that would calculate top speed after entering rpms, trans top gear ratio, final drive ratio and tire diameter. I got an A on it. I thought it was a neat toy and never thought twice about it and became a mechanic. I'd a been rich if I stuck with it.

Lol! I forgot about Emergency. Here's a link for all you Emergency fans out there: http://www.emergencyfans.com/index.html
