So I'm deep into my a-body manual conversion and come to find out that the drivers side header lines up directly with the Z-Bar. Great. Any ideas on how to remedy this this problem?

This car is a 73 dart swinger with a small block 318 for extra info.

Thanks.

Dang, sorry but I have to chuckle. SOmewhere in the header application is says "Doesn't work with manual transmission".

Yeah, sorry- it's a no-go.

You may be able to get away with those headers if you use a hydraulic linkage, but no guarantees there either. By the time you buy all the bits and pieces and work all the bugs out, you'd have more than paid for a new set of headers anyway.

Plus Doug's, Hedman, Patriot... Summit and Jeg's have house brands that are cheaper, but the ground clearance isn't always the greatest but usable on a budget.
