No just vet plates I think Iraq vet I don't remember I have all of them!
So, do you have to get inspected? I talked to another PA member about the antique vs inspection thing. I think it's similar to what Ben said. Not supposed to run at night also I believe. I don't know how it affect insurance either. I transferred title for mine, but have not done reg yet. So, need to look into this a bit more... I do want to get it insured soon. Even though it's not done, it is drivable (and therefor more 'steal-able')

I am not sure how it works with antique plates here. Vet plates are 32 for two years.

I don't know - but he was real concerned that if he passed me and I got caught and it wasn't legal that his shop would get shut down... I learned a long time ago, never push the inspection guy too hard.. they can make getting a sticker a LOT less fun than it already is. I "argued" (more like plead) my case, but it was 100% pleasant.. and didn't do me any good.
I'd be calling the dmv... no way that's a law

oh yay - a call to the MassRMV - because there's NOTHING about switching reg types on the web site... THIS ought to be fun!

Hmmm... looks like its $150 one time. I might actually want to use one of my Dad's old plates if I have a good one for 75'ish. It says classic still needs inspection antique does not. BUT, it says you cant drive antique at night??? Does not give those details for 'Vintage':BangHead:

well I'll be damned - called and got through pretty quickly - seems I can register it as an antique and once I get the plates and registration I simply cancel the one I have now - never would have imagined you could have it registered twice like that...
