I cleaned around the mounting holes and it started working so i will be running a couple of grounding wires. I am guessing it is just residue from sitting so long
I was having some intermittent issue with my gauges and lights. While i had the motor out i went ahead and did my amp gauge by pass put the cluster back in and now there is no lights or gauges. I have some gauges to replace the factory ones as a temporary fix but would like the originals to...
ok got motor in and running but have an issue with the dash. i have rallye dash with no gauges or lights almost like i have no power going to the cluster. all park lights are working
Hoping to get it done so my dad can have fun with it this year at the track since it was his car and he is not in the best of health, i want him to have at least one season at Greer Dragway in his old car which has only went down the track 3 times since the 80's
My dads garage the blue soft tail is mine, 3 bay garage packed full it hold 2014 Ram with 850 miles, 23ft Triton bass boat, Honda Shadow, Harley Electraglide, 2 Harley softails, and 4 atvs barely got my car in.

To start off the car has been sitting for 3yrs because i was afraid to drive it due to front suspension. Bought all my parts and finally started on the teardown.
I thought it was just wanted to make sure so i can go ahead and order it it is the last exterior decal i have to get then just have to save for the paint job
if to lock your car up you use a belt or rope tied from the armrest to the steering wheel (latch post missing or busted out)
if you go to the parts store to get front drums and they look at you like you're crazy
