I pulled up that link for my 73 duster and there was no duster diagtam offered. Just about every other plymouth n dodge from 1973 was there though.

Hey. I have a 73 Duster with the 225. I just did a motor swap and didnt take a pic or write down which wires go where on the coil. I just wanna make sure i hook it all back up right. All the wires on the back of the alternator i left hooked up so its just the coil. I have 4 wires back there...

Anybody got a link to a sticky or have some pics on this? I have 73 duster w the /6-904 too. My reverse runs if im up on jackstands but wont pull when on the ground. Id like to see what it looks lime in there and where the reverse band is located.

What about a 1978 volare? Be able to use that engine trans(318) brakes n such?

Mine still has 4in pattern. Moter n trans is all i would bother with then. The rest would be a part out.

I have a 73 with all drums n sbp myself. Not particularly in a hurry to go up either. Im a cruiser anyway n summit carries 15s w the small pattern.

Yeah. Ive learned all three have diff bell housings (thanks dudes) but all 3 of my choices so far are paired with transmissions already. My concern is getting the whole works in the duster

I have the /6 in it. Have a mid 80's psrts truck w a 318 & trans in it. I saw the motorhome motor n trans in a classified ad. Its the same year as my car thats why i brought it up.

How bout a 413 and 727 trans out of a 73 motorhome? Can i slide that down in the Duster?

They make automatic overdrive transmissions i can put in that 73 behind either engine?

What about the rear brakes? Get a kit or swap s rear end from a later car?

So the 904 is the torqueflite it mentioned? Are there any OD autos thatll bolt up to the 225 or small blocks then go in the Duster without a ton of mods?

What about the trans bolt up? Same pattern on thr v8 & /6? I have a 73 i just picked up n wanna do the same. Although i read on wikipedia That certain 1975 set ups could get you like 35mpg hwy. Thats sounds awful tempting for a cool old cruiser too.
