US Car Tool Torque Boxes and Sub Frame Connectors Install

I stitch welded completely to avoid excess heat on a rotisserie, ran the e-brake cable thru the subframe by drilling holes where the cable naturally crossed the subframe and used a big pry bar to make the holes fit better and rerouted gas line. There was a gap for the fuel line to cross over.

valve seats concerns T/A 340 Heads

Ok, got my heads back. Machine shop was kind enough to mark different heights, used a bridge and measured to a inserted valve for a zero point, in no certain order: I need to look again but I believe only the exhaust seats were installed and not all were hardened seats.

valve seats concerns T/A 340 Heads

You are more than qualified, I will send some pics when I get back from the machine shop, I did discover oversize seats (1/4" depth) that say to set at 7/32" and top cut to finish, in my case they may help. Laughing at myself because you probably already know this.

valve seats concerns T/A 340 Heads

Correct, hard seats were installed too deep. I am not familiar with seat replacement but it seems I need a taller seat, just fear someone cutting into the water jacket..

US CAR TOOL Frame Connector Questions

I marked where the lines will cross the subframe connectors, drilled some big holes for the cable to go thru and stuck a round pry bar in the hole and changed the angle of the hole. Also had to re-route the fuel line.

    Backup lights, wipers, switch

Matthon, I fixed my wiper issue similar to yours so I am throwing this at ya. My wipers were slow and causing circuit breaker to reset, checked my backup lamps and they were not working and they used too. I could hear the clicking in the switch and I thought the switch was bad / possibly...

    Backup lights, wipers, switch

Thanks Redfish! I did not have a clue... FYI The switch comes apart fairly easily, just some tabs need be bend and the switch will come apart, 1200-1500 sand paper to the contacts and re-assemble. If that circuit breaker is bad not sure how to fix, maybe by-pass and add a circuit breaker.

    Backup lights, wipers, switch

You may have a 2-speed wiper. Mine (67) is 2-speed and has 3 wires also. I love that wiring diagram! I see the power goes thru wiper switch "B" and thru internal circuit breaker and out thru B/U backup lamps switch. I read this on another post with pics of the switch so credit is not...
