What length rear end fits a stock plymouth Barracuda?

Thanks, I just felt like I was being blown off by pat answers. These are the kind of answers I wanted to hear. I have this great 8.25 rear end that I spent big bucks on and I'm not sure what wheels and axel combo to put together. The answer is get down and measure it! I have an 8.75 489? rear...

What length rear end fits a stock plymouth Barracuda?

Thanks for the easy answers. If you don't know just say so. If the rear end is the wrong length, it doesn't make any differance which wheels you use. Like I said- just trying to save myself some time. I know how to get the right measurements, it just takes time. Width, length, all the same I...

Do I go for the complete 489 center or just a brand new sure grip?

The 489 unit is stronger than the 741. I believe parts are still available for both. I just purchased a new cluthc limited slip two years ago. I belirve you could just by clutch parts for the unit and rebuild it,if needed.
