I have this picture of the detail on my 68 B'cuda, but the L bracket for attaching the rubber brake line is integral to the body. Looks like the 71 is a bolt on bracket. I would think that the 69 is probably closer to the 68 Barracuda.

OK guys - the picture of the drum on the far left is the mystical 10 x 1 3/4" sbp drum. The friction surfaces on the middle and far right drums are approx. 2 3/4". They are 4 1/2" lbp with the larger register. Overall width is 3 5/8" for both of the larger drums. Doesn't look like the friction...

I bought a 8.75 rear that was supposed to be out of a Challenger. When I got it home, I noticed it had two different 10" wheel drums. The offset is different. Do you match the drum to the backing plate and how - Part numbers? If need be, I'll post some pictures. Thanks

OK - Here's what I have. They are 10" drums from a 68 sbp 7 1/4 equipped with 10" drums front and back. The centerhole measures 2.312" with a dial caliper. Apparently, this one is aftermarket by Centrifuge?.... The other drum looks like it has less meat on it but still in good shape.

Are you guys Kidding, or what? I have two sbp 10" drums off of my 7 1/4 that I'm not using. They are worth HOW MUCH?

I have the 9" drum brakes on an 8 1/4 rear. These are the wide shoes cause the rear end is out of a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. I put the 73 Duster disc brakes on the front. I guess I'll stay with that until I run out of things to do.

I have a rear disc setup from a Grand Cherokee and another from a Cherokee Limited. I don't know what year they are from. Do you know what's different about the 96 and up? I think the Grand Cherokee is later than 96.

I just took the plunger out of my 68 Barracuda. Put the rod end, without the bolt, in a vise. I clamped down on the rod with the rod and plunger hanging straight down. in one hand put the open end of a wrench, say 9/16, around the rod and resting on the piston. Give it a good rap with a hammer...
