    Rear disc on A-body

What MC did you go with? Is it a disc/drum or disc/disc? If a disk/drum, did you remove the residual valve? Thanks

    Rear Center Brake Line Hardware

I have this picture of the detail on my 68 B'cuda, but the L bracket for attaching the rubber brake line is integral to the body. Looks like the 71 is a bolt on bracket. I would think that the 69 is probably closer to the 68 Barracuda.

    Caliper problem

I upgraded my 68 B'cuda to 73 Duster disc brakes. I came across a really good deal on some reman calipers supposedly for a 78 Cordoba. Everything fit together with no problem, until now. I was mounting a set of 14" Magnum 500's and the caliper outside corners hit the rim. Any body know if there...

Emergency brake cable kit 68 Cuda

Okay - If you want another opinion - I have a 68 Barracuda coupe (notchback) that has 3 cables. One from the parking brake mechanism to the rear equalizer bracket, one to the left brake, one to the right brake. There is an attaching bracket on the right side cable to secure it to the body. Nuff...

    Difference in 10" brake drums

OK guys - the picture of the drum on the far left is the mystical 10 x 1 3/4" sbp drum. The friction surfaces on the middle and far right drums are approx. 2 3/4". They are 4 1/2" lbp with the larger register. Overall width is 3 5/8" for both of the larger drums. Doesn't look like the friction...

    Difference in 10" brake drums

I bought a 8.75 rear that was supposed to be out of a Challenger. When I got it home, I noticed it had two different 10" wheel drums. The offset is different. Do you match the drum to the backing plate and how - Part numbers? If need be, I'll post some pictures. Thanks

Help me identify this brake drum

OK - Here's what I have. They are 10" drums from a 68 sbp 7 1/4 equipped with 10" drums front and back. The centerhole measures 2.312" with a dial caliper. Apparently, this one is aftermarket by Centrifuge?.... The other drum looks like it has less meat on it but still in good shape.

    8 1/4 rear disks

I have the 9" drum brakes on an 8 1/4 rear. These are the wide shoes cause the rear end is out of a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. I put the 73 Duster disc brakes on the front. I guess I'll stay with that until I run out of things to do.

    8 1/4 rear disks

I have a rear disc setup from a Grand Cherokee and another from a Cherokee Limited. I don't know what year they are from. Do you know what's different about the 96 and up? I think the Grand Cherokee is later than 96.

Confused on Spring kit 68 dart

x2 Rock Auto.com. That backing plate looks kinda damp. You might ought to pick up a couple of wheel cylinders.

How to get the Push Rod out of a Master Cyl

I just took the plunger out of my 68 Barracuda. Put the rod end, without the bolt, in a vise. I clamped down on the rod with the rod and plunger hanging straight down. in one hand put the open end of a wrench, say 9/16, around the rod and resting on the piston. Give it a good rap with a hammer...

    Disc brake pad clips

Sorry - I forgot. It's a 68 Barracuda and I'm putting 73-76 Duster disc Brakes on front. I would include a picture but I haven't figured out how to reduce the size yet. There are eight clips included - Four large, two per side that secure the caliper to the brackets and four small clips. I'm...

    Disc brake pad clips

I bought the package of brake pad mounting hardware from Autozone. I know how the larger clips are installed. I need to know how the smaller clips are installed. Obviously, they are mounted with the supplied bolt. I found one picture showing the smaller clips mounted "on top" of the larger...
