I grew up with Ray Jr (passed away in 1989) Its a GREAT family owned and operated shop and with excellent prices
Thats a great deal Petty, hope you can find some manual 1', best of luck!!
thanks for all of the kind words, Im pretty excited about getting to the interior here soon and having it on the road by the end of June at the very latest!
Sounds like you are cruising right along getting things knocked off of the to-do list! Isnt it a pain waiting on the little odds and ends that never seem to get there in time? I cant wait to see some more progress pics!!
That would for sure be the best case scenario. It is a fold down, but as far as what it would take to just drop it in and then swap my old latches and all that onto them Im not sure. Doing the interior is still a ways off but these just kind of fell into my lap. Once I get to the point of...
For 6 months Ive been going back and forth between ordering new stock covers for my existing seats or just going with something newer and more comfortable. I had basically decided to go with new racing buckets until I came across these. They are out of a totalled 2004 Chrysler Sebring and in...
Just thought that Id mention that if you arent in a hurry and have a Murrays Auto parts near you they run those seats on sale for $99 each from time to time.
Do a search from past threads because carpet is a pretty common topic that comes up a lot. There are FOR SURE a few places that are WAY less expensive than Year One for carpet. Good luck!!
Joe those are the same seats Ive been thinking about for my fish. After debating the same thing as you I decided to just go with the vinyl because of wear and the fact that they will clean up better. Plus I also just like the way they look better. I might end up kicking myself for not going with...
I also keep a couple mess bags of charcoal under the seats all of the time. Seems to keep the car from smelling musty. I change them with fressh stuff every couple months.
I went with a 13 inch wheel. I wont be able to drive the car until next spring, but I have total faith that the smaller 1 that is also a full inch on the rim should actually be easier than that skinny (maybe 1/2" rim width) stock wheel because of better grip with it.
Great ideas already above. It really depends on what you are looking for. If you want a totally clean look without having to give up the glove box you can add a trunk amp and run a single wire to the glove box to use an ipod. Depending on what you have as far as speakers it should actually be...
I really like the look of carbon fiber and have done some interior finish work for some customers with it. I just worry that its such a "trendy" thing that In a couple years Ill get bored with and it will be out dated.
Really nice!!! Good idea to ake a little break from fenderwells when you started to feel a little burned out. Id do the same thing except I KNOW that I would get too sidetracked and put off what I was originally working on. At least I know my limitations right? lol Great job , always feels good...
Man does that look nice, good job. Your wife helped you?!?!?! Geez if either of my ex's were half as supportive as yours seems to be I might still be married. LOL. Again, nice job!!
Absolutely incredible!!! Awesome job!! That interior is so clean that Id feel like I had to change clothes, put on surgical gloves, and construction booties just to get in to drive it :-D
That is absolutely AWESOME!! My work in construction primarily focuses on custom interior finish work so I can truly appreciate all the time and craftmanship that goes into doing that the right way. I can only imagine the amount of time you have into those dash insets. Again, great work!!!
I used the Krylon Fusion to redo about half of the interior in my SUV and it turned out AWESOME! Like Pastortom1 said the key is taking your time with prep. Also, I went the route of "more light coats is better than fewer heavy coats" Had the interior panels hanging suspened from the rafter is...
