    There's a few threads on this. It's a 50/50 success rate on the rattle can. I've seen awesome results and blaa. I believe the key is a good gloss black base coat and light misting of the chrome. Good luck.

    if they are still installed. don't press to hard...the molded rivet/clips will snap and the lens will end up flopping around in the housing. good luck. oh I used a three stage plastic cleaner bought at a sign makers store. it progressively gets smoother.

    I can tell you this...the 'pros' way is money well spent. and yeah that price is high... but thats what it cost to restore a cluster. Blows for sure! If you got the time and patience..heck ya do it yourself. There's a lot that goes into the restore, from repairs to the bezel, plastic chroming...

    front back restored and unrestored. closeup of rear housing... I got a better nut for the five volt (yellow) wire and transfered the old nut to the post without. used pastortom1's help on the cleaning of the circuit board...Mahalo!
