    underbody rust removal

The rust stopper product is called "Rust Encapsulater". I've heard great things about it, but have not ever used it. As far as removing all the loose rust, go get you some cheap Harbor Freight wire wheels for a drill. They work well for the price, but I would highly recommend a top quality (3M...

    tail light opening 69 dart

The taillight opening is what I call it. It can be drilled off from the outside, as it is an easier job to re-install the new panel. There are not any reproduction pieces that I am aware of, so the only option is used. Try to contact member Lee Robinson out of California, I believe he still has...

    New AMD fender...holy crap.

I agree with fishmens67 post.... as far as I can see, the rocker looks to be fine in the picture, it's the fender that is basically junk, not even close to being correct, and what does a fender like this cost? AMD just isn't getting these panels right. Can't understand this with all the...

    Body and Frame measurements

I will say this.... I have read just about every post, you have written/or posted to, and just about everytime I have read your stuff, and I have agreed to about 99% accuracy. What I was trying to say/mention is, the hole stamping's in which you measure to/from or front/rear of those/them holes...

    Body and Frame measurements

This is just a FYI.... alway's take in consideration, that these factory measurement dimension's should only be used, when you are using OEM used frame/body metal, as a lot of the aftermarket framerails/etc. and unibody support metal, do not have the locating hole's in the proper location, which...

There is an article (post) that was written by member (Cosgig) about how he had excellent luck using a single piece of harwood flooring and he also mentioned you can get a free example of it from Home Depot, if you do not have any other access to get one. He has pic's posted in that post of how...

    Best Spot weld drill?

We like the HF spring loaded type, the double sided cutter is good and works well, and you will rarely break the cutter, unless you get it in a very serious bind. The only thing I don't really like is the hex size, which is 7mm, but we have a few custom made extensions, for getting down in the...

X2.... back in the day when Lynn Steele (himself) was producing every piece of rubber themselves, there rubber was totally correct and exact!! Body filler in the trunk?

I forgot to mention one thing..... do grind down the weld and the surrounding area with at least a 24 grit grinding pad for exceptional adhesion to the trunk floor. We also have the best luck sanding with 3M 40 grit sandpaper to get down to where you need be. Good Luck!

    Body filler in the trunk?

Well......... in our honest opinion, you will be just fine with the Evercoat Metal 2 Metal (we have never used the Evercoat brand) we have always used the USC all-metal with great success. Start with the Evercoat M 2 M over the welded seam area, just make sure you will have sometime after it is...

    your favourite wax,detailer or polish

We like the Meguires brand products.... but there are other very reputable products out there like 3M, Eagle, California brand products, etc. I also like to use Kit-J wax (it is a paste wax) on the windows inside and out, and if done real nice, cannot even tell there is even a glass there. You...

Will Doors from '70-'74 Fit my '69 Dart

As for the doors..... I believe the 67-69 doors will fit, but I think the door push lock buttons are in a different location than the stock 69 doors location. The 70-74 doors will bolt up, but something is different but not sure what it is. The door hinges are the same for all those years. I...

Take a 3m 3 inch 3/16 or 1/4 grinding wheel and go down thru there carefully and grind the roof skin down carefully the metal will turn blue when it gets thin. It not hard just take your time and be careful not to grind into the drip rail.you can drill off the drip edge but it is extra work and...

Remove Tail Light Panel to Replace Trunk Floor?

You can install the AMD floorpan in your car, without removing the taillight panel, but I personally like to remove the original tail panel, only for the ease of not having to work over top of it. Plus you have to drill all of the spot welds at the lower back bottom area (90 degree edge ) of...

    Couple of questions on sheetmetal/bodywork

I agree with Treblig 100 percent.......... he is spot on, as ALL reproduction sheet metal is made to be modified one way or the other IMO. This is the proper way to get it done. Good luck with your project! Dodge33
