Yep. Two motors, hot 318 and mild 5.9, no problems.

The Performer is a stock type replacement manifold and the LD4B compares to the RPM manifold (LD4B is better for 318 heads).

Don't know why your current carb wouldn't work just fine.

Looks good. All kinds of cool stuff going on under that hood! What is that can with the breather on it? Oil catch?

My 570 ran awesome OOTB but the 670 ALWAYS had that stumble as soon as I hit the gas. The 570 runs 2X better than the 670 on a 360. I ended up sending it back to Holley to see what the problem was. Said the needle/seat was sticking and replaced those parts. I still have to bolt it back on and...

Mine is always open till I first press the gas. Flips closed on the first pump for start up, then slowly opens.

I think it would work, might be a problem with the S bolt used with the Dakota top. The hole for the top might not line up with your carbs bolt for the air cleaner. You can find lots of pics on the net of Dakotas with open air cleaners like you would use on your Cuda. Not sure how much height...

I am also using this pump. I have 3/8" lines but adapted at the pump in and out. I don't know what to suggest but I am interested as I think I might be in the same boat when the 5.9 mag goes in.

Looks fine but...... You could try to put a jack with a piece of wood (to spread the pressure) under the oil pan and lift slowly, if a mount is broke it will lift away on that side.

I have suggested using the vent on the sending unit but have been told that would not be good due to spraying strait into the gas aerating the fuel. There is also a fitting that can be cut into the fill tube as a return.

You can do a lot better on price. I just put that for reference. Try ebay. I own one of these on a built 318 and runs really well.

Unless it is rusted out I would keep the hard line. You need a vent for your gas tank. I used a piece of fuel line and ran it up by my fender. And still when I completely fill my tank a little bit of gas comes out of it, I never had that problem with the hard line left open under the hood.

Heard they put dry ice in there.

The high reading with the stumble is the air / fuel not getting burned and the oxy sensor reading that. IMO, I would go back to what worked and tune from there.

Its a good idea to weld bung at about 10 or 2 o'clock or higher that way any water / condensation won't break your O2 sensor.

I just fixed my surging problem, turns out is was the vent for the gas tank. Might check that. If you have the charcoal canister there is a check valve in the vent line that can get stuck.

Square bore Holley will fit a square bore air-gap. Adapter is needed for spread bore to square bore or vice versa.

Think the new 3/8" sending units come with a return line fitting.

I have the 570 and have no off idle stumble. Did have to make some adjustments though, not a bolt and go. Also I used the rear large vac port for my PCV.
