    A Body Throttle Cable S.O.S.

Same here. I bought the 24 inch lokar cable and damn it's a nice piece. I used a billet bracket from jegs that appears to be made by CSR. Same thing anyway. 24 inches should be fine.

    Electric Fuel Pump Recommendation

Recommendations for a 408 and a 750 mighty demon carb. Electric fuel pump with no regulator. Keep it simple stupid is my aim. Or am I a fool for not wanting a regulator? State your case and why, as well as what you recommend.

    Idle acting crazy

Sounds to me like the fuel is being heated up too much. Do whatever you can to get the line away from heat. Try wrapping it in something insulative.

    Junkyard treasure 360 efi?

After dealing with the magnum plaform for years, I got P/O'd with it, yanked it and am now going with a carbed 408. For a simple driver it's fine, but for performance it's a horrible POS. You can go out and pay out the backside for tuning flasher thingies, but IMO you're never going to make...

    EZ-EFI - anyone try this????

If you're making 400ish hp you'll be fine with it. It only controls target a/f ratio I believe so you still use your ignition and you still adjust your own timing. I believe you also need the fuel pump which may be separate, or another level of the kit. It learns and adjusts itself, so if...

    The Barracuda has a Demon

heh, I just bought a shiny new mighty demon annular 750 for my new stroker last night. I was going to go with a quick fuel carb, but they seem no better than a proform and don't seem to tune as easily as a demon. I got a very similar return bracket to yours. I am converting from EFI to carb so...

    The Barracuda has a Demon

That looks great. What size is it, and what is that throttle return spring/bracket setup? How's she run? It's nice!

    Annular vs dogleg booster....

Hope someone can help me decide. I have read about the differences between these two and from what I gather, the annulars enable you to run a carb that would normally not run so well down low, and they better atomize fuel. But they can also restrict flow and atomize too much in heat to rob...

Where To Get High Octane Gas...

OMG! I remember that place! I'm from Elmont. I lived on Franklin Ave. small world.:-D Last summer they were selling BP110 leaded here in detroit for under 5 bucks a gallon. Let's hope they keep up the good work.

    Experience with Quick Fuel Carbs?

Yep, That one's an annular. Looking like I should really go with the 850 annular. But that has no choke. Let's say though, that I decide I want to take my truck somewhere when it's cold. let's say a 20 degree day! Would it be a PITA to start? Would keeping the engine warm with a heater help...

    Experience with Quick Fuel Carbs?

I am putting together a 426 smallblock and I am looking for a carb. RHS/Indy heads with bowl/guide work, 2.02s, 5 angle, and undercut. 224/236ish roller cam ~10:1 compression I was thinking of this one... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/QFT-SS-750-AN/?rtype=7 Anyone have any experience...
