I just did that either last year or the year before! Mine developed a steady drip out of one of the connectors. Pretty easy to get to and cheap enough. I didn't know about the improved replacement. Next time I'll do that!

sounds like the belt is rubbing on something. that something ought to be now shiny. NO pulleys are wobbling? recheck the damper (that was the issue on our 05 T&C). the damper is just a press fit. you could move it a bit front/back as needed at idle for troubleshooting.

B-van arm rests are the same or very similar to many a-body rear arm rests. I also recall people buying new b-van door hinges for restoration projects.
