When it comes to the A body small block 10 1/2 clutch & bell housing how many different fork pivots were used ? Im having a hard time clipping the clutch fork on to the throw out bearing. When i take the pivot off it clips right on.

Got it in today i remembered something my dad told me he had to do one time loosen the clutch bolts it went right in lol

my dad had a 67 GTX 440 4spd & the crank he had bought wasnt drilled so he used that same bearing not sure if that was the reason but that was the easiest trany install i ever did by my self

when i bought this engine (360) it already had a pilot bushing in it so i never gave it a thought that the trany wouldnt fit also the alignment tool i got with the clutch kit fit ill have to check it out thanks guys

I was throwing around the idea of an aluminum flywheel but I was told they don't last as long & ive heard O you don't want that for the street

Shopping for a clutch & disk kit. Im running a 360 with a 3.79 stroke. Have no idea HP or TQ 8 3/4 rear with 3:91 gears Any suggestions ?

Is there a way to identify an A body 4spd trany just by looking at pictures ? I know the trany mount is in a different location for different bodies & where the shifter mounts also.

I have a 69 barracuda 383 4spd. I bought a pair of used shorties on here. I put everything in place, block, heads, headers, z bar, bell housing. I had to mark & cut the header so I could bend & move it to clear the z bar. I then took the header off & welded it back up. It can be done. Not sure...

I had one machined to fit the OD bearing retainer & it worked fine

1& 2 point front 3&4 point front where the rods go on to the trany. the reverse point slightly to the rear. Then you should be able to turn the trany with ease.

Just ordered parts from them a week ago on line. Had no problems.
