    I used SEM hot rod black for my duster. It is a single stage urethane.Comes in a 1 qrt. kit with hardner. It also cleans up easy with Meguiars quick detailer.

    Just a thought you might try taking the springs off and just using the hinges if you think the hings spring are causing it to push up on the back of the hood. Is that the type of fitment issue your having? Sort of like it bowing up the rear of the hood when closed? Matt

    Try the clay bar it works well. I usually use a little water to mist on it and keep it wet. Or might try Acrysol usually works well for me to . Matt

    Who if anyone repop's the seals that go in the holes in the hood under the scoop? I think the hole size is 4.5" If i am not mistaken. Please let em know if anyone has a good place to find those seals, and please correct me if I am wrong on the hole size. I am going to put the hole in my duster...

The hood that was on the car has a hole cut out and a big scoop on the hood. That is not what I am wanting to run. I was wantinng to run a stock hood with the factory scoops...

    This is my stock 72 340 air cleaner. So unless I am missing something i don't think a drop base is going to help me as long as i keep the stock air cleaner. Matt

    Mini tubbing, springs and backspacing

    If you do the mini tub, you will put the leaf spring in to the rear frame rails. As for your backspacing and wheel size that will be left to you and the length of your rear end.
