I got this with some parts. It looks like a Sure Grip of some sort, and in less than bolt in condition. Can it be rebuilt?

Talk to Dr. Diff. He's a great guy to talk with about your needs. Having an auto will help an 8 1/4 last.

I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I'm putting a stick behind a 360 and trying to figure out what I need vs what I can afford. There are Sure Grips for the 8 1/4. The important thing is getting the correct Sure Grip for the rear end that you have.
