    Keep in mind that 1/2" and especially the 1/4" on the front edge with the rocker will close up at 100mph and you will get a high pitched singing sound as they touch. I had those clearances back in 1977 and didn't find out until I was running about 110 with a sheriffs' car about 1/4 mile behind...

    at least a 15..... and if you go 17 with a 4.5 bolt pattern, you can use the "Bullit" Mustang wheel (keep the cost down) with a B body rear end housing and i think you might not have to move the springs in(saving labor)...73&up (or RMS) upper control arms and F body spindles and brake...

    i've got some L60-14 Mickey Thompson Indy Profile tires (2 each) they measure 9.5 at the tread surface and approx 26.25 diameter, new never used. still have stickers on the tread (and the little bumps) and that brings up what Beanik said...how wide are your wheels?

    Zhandfull...what is your 68 dart measurement from the drum to fenderwell and drum to spring? that could help us verify the backspacing number would interchange between a valiant and a dart, thxs

    Cragars on the front

    we have a 68 valiant 2 dr post and i had 225/70r14 on the front with a 14x6 crager ss and it just barely touched the bolt at the back side of the fenderwell on small bumps when turning..changed out ot a 215/70 and no touching.
