Charged battery, but doesn't even try to start.

Fixing an issue like this is always a process of elimination. I agree with starting with trying to start it with a screwdriver across the starter relay first. I normally start with the easiest first and do the harder checks last.

Did you follow the instructions to the t to install the distributor? If you have it clocked wrong, the computer cannot tell where you start from.

    1968 BARRACUDA

No suggestions for wire looms. I thought about the Jacob wires as they are a very nice product, although the price scared me. I used spark plug boot covers for my problem cylinders. They were not very much and really protected the wires. Although, they didn't last 20 years either.

Charging circuit - reduced load on ammeter circuit

Putting relays for your headlights will cut a lot of current flow through the bulkhead connectors, at least at night.

    Rallye dash conversion

I presume you have the voltage limiter installed which reduces voltage to the gauges to 5 or 6 volts or so.

Coil Near Plug conversion Timing light will not work with LS coils

Could you temporarily mount the coil away from the plug and run a spark plug wire to allow setting of the timing?

    Volt /Ammeter at odds ??

Your alternator might not have enough capacity (amps) at lower rpms. Does it charge when you are going down the road at 2-3 thousand rpms? Your battery can maintain 14 volts even at a slight discharge for a while. Eventually, it will discharge enough to start registering lower than 14 volts.

    69 ignition problem???

In the start position, cranking over, you should have 12 full volts to the coil. When the ignition switch is in the run position, you should have 9 or so volts to the coil. Like kursplat said, sounds like an ignition switch is the culprit. Rod

    Windshield Wiper Delay

Windshield wiper delay....So I decided to keep my 2-speed wipers. Mainly due to the cost. Anyhow, my BHG car is far from stock and I would like wiper delays. Has anyone had any experience with installing an aftermarket wiper delay on their car. Did it work well and was it worth it? If so, what...

    Volt meter power source???

There are usually several female connectors that are not used in mopar wiring harnesses. You just need to find one that is switched power and use it. Rod

    Another Ammeter bypass question:

I also installed relays for the headlights, that cuts down the current flow through the headlight switch tremendously.

What do I need for a proper under-dash rewire?

Don't use black electrical tape for the harness, stuff is nasty after it gets warm/old and leaves residue on the wires. Rod
