    Patina Paint Job

I've had kids: break windshield, swing doors into lift posts, drop and shatter carbs, fry electrical harnesses, gouge freshly painted parts, snap off a ton of fasteners, crack plastic trim....you name it. All mistakes they learn from. That body has more dings than it came in with...

    Patina Paint Job

A car was saved that was going to the scrap yard. It was mechanically restored and upgraded for performance and safety. It was worked on as a learning tool for US auto students, 100% funded by the teacher - me. The money in it, exceeds it's value WITHOUT doing body and paint. I'm...

    65 glass install

Looking at alot of videos on "lockstrip" type window installs. SOME put the gasket on the window and rope it in. SOME put the gasket on the pinchweld and set the glass in, and work the lip over. What is best? easiest? factory did it, how? gasket on pinchweld?

20+ years in the same spot gave it a nice tan. Fake...there is some. we patch behind the front and rear wheels and replaced a section by the trunk. We then painted the metal with oxide primer, grey primer then blue (actually pontiac blue engine paint!)....and sanded thru in spots to try to...

    How bad does this look?

$1K max. but it sounds like you REALLY want the car. So get it, its your money and your car. As said before - not worth fixing from an economics point of view.

    How bad does this look?

Looks like it was repaired once before....and its the old rust coming back. Honestly....its ALOT of work to fix it right, cost prohibitive. To just fill/sand/paint and enjoy, thats a different story. Cheap, easy, white is easy to match. but it won't hold more than a few months before the...

    Rotisserie for Demon

Not, its not done. Its all jammed out in B5 blue, exterior in blue tinted epoxy primer. I'm sure it will align fine. What you need to remember is that these cars have tremendous variations, car to car, and there is so much adjustablility in the fender/hood/door fitment...that panels will be...

    Rotisserie for Demon

Nope; plenty stong. The shell only weighs maybe 6-700 lbs. We did all the panel work, on its sides, upside down....just spin as needed. The frame connectors were added and tack lightly welded with the car inverted. I then went onto its sides for complete welding of the connectors.
