Well, the 340 is progressing. Crank needed to be ground, heads needed a FULL tear down and rebuild. The machine shop is balancing the crank to be internally balanced from external. A comp xe 268 cam is going in. Have the stock manifold and freshly rebuilt ThermoQuad sitting in the garage...

Ok, so I am picking up a '73 340 and I already have some '69-'70 340 heads. It's supposedly a virgin block....... So assuming that the block specs out, does anyone have a recipe for a decent build? I'm not looking for an ungodly build that will shatter records nor am I looking for a stock...
