Some new pics. Most of the car is in 1 coat of epoxy and 2 coats primer. Will start blocking some time this week.

My buddy Levi, who owns shop, spraying some primer.

You using a 8 1/4 rear? That thing is begging for a low buck disk brake conversion if you are!

Worked on rear brakes. Would like to do the rear disc upgrade but already had drum parts. Car has been blocked and primed twice. Hood and trunk still need some work but the rest is looking good.

Undercoating on bottom. More blocking and sanding. Trunk and tail light section look real good.

WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is looking Great!

thanks for keeping us updated on the progress.

Nice work on your 72, reminds me of where I was at on mine last summer and it took me two years to get to to that stage so your making quick progress. Keep the pictures coming.

A lot of the credit for the quick progress goes to my buddy who is doing the body work. He has done a couple cars and has been doing body work for 20 plus years so I pretty much follow his lead. One thing I have learned is use quality panels and don't be afraid to cut. Piecing in patch panels takes time, replace quarters, fenders, floors trunks. Mopar guys finally have some options for parts, so use them. Bottom line you will have a straighter car and save on labor and cost. I know it looks cheaper at first, but in the end you won 't regret it.

Big day tomorrow car gets painted! Pretty excited and nervous. I keep second guessing color choice but I'm sure it will be fine.

It'll be an exciting day, it should turn out great!

Thanks, I think it will. Just have a lot of effort and money invested. Been real busy with work and getting car ready for this so its a lot of excitement and nervousness. Might not sleep real good tonight. But can't wait to see it tomorrow night! Should of seen me loading it up on trailer. I was a nervous wreck. When I offered to ride on back of trailer and watch, my buddy told me to shut up and get in the truck. We have been enjoying a balmy spring this year in ND, 20's and snow all April.

Car is painted! Real happy with color choice. Had some issues with paint and clear. It was a hectic day but very happy with final result.
