Car buffed out really nice. Am very happy with paint. Got engine painted.

Took two days off and got a few things done. Got hard board headliner in. Not to bad. I had my buddy help. Would be almost impossible by oneself. Also got a lot off parts painted and fat mat down inside and on roof. Next big thing is get engine finished and in car . Axle is ready to go in. Also got car off rotisserie. Looks good closer to ground.

Relubed the cam and lifters. Installed intake and primed oil pump. No leaks, oil to both sets of rockers and good oil pressure. Checked on fit of headers. Fit pretty good.

Got quite a bit done today. Trunk lid is on. Axle is in. Engine and trans is on k member . Headers are test fitted and will fit, barely. I would of had engine in car but could not find torque converter to flex plate bolts . Will try again tomorrow.

It's been slow going but a lot has happened since last pics. I have been too busy to post lately. Carpet is in and seats have new covers on. Center console is in. Brakes are done. Engine has had cam broke in. Exhaust is done. Bumpers are on. Hood is ready for paint. Front end needs to be tightened up. Picture shows it pretty low. I had it higher but it settled some with the added weight. Sitting higher now. Hope to get glass in and finish up interior. Doors and fenders need adjusting. A lot of little stuff to do! Sorry for lack of pics, will try to take more.

Glass is in. Hood and fender extension are back from painter. Put hood on would not close! Won't budge Remove hood, drivers fender and bumper. Put a 6 foot piece of angle iron on hinge. Got it broke loose with lots of pressure and rust bomb. Put hood back on on and sits about 1.25"high. Pretty sure hinge is bent. Picked up a used hinge. Will get blasted and painted. Pretty frustrating! Good news is I took it out for short drive and worked well. Tomorrow it's off to alignment shop. Max cooling for now.
 
Got hood on. New hinge fixed everything. Grill is on. Been driving on short trips. A lot of rattles and little things yet. Runs good and shifts nice with lokar cable. Had to raise ride height twice. Have it set a little high. Take it out for a drive and it's way down on bump stops. Been working on dash and wiring. Before I started restoration the only thing that worked was gas gauge. Now of course that works only part of the time. Have it at home now.
