Yep a non running car is a ***** to ship as they may have to shuffle it around on/off the trailer. Best of luck!
agree w/ MMissle... I like for them to look close to stock and run like a race car myself, but still be able to go get a strawberry shake in it .
Jim,
You know I am only 35 miles from the AMD Shop. I have a 24' enclosed trailer and 3500 Dually and lots of insurance. What's it going to cost to haul it down? I have some vacation time left! This is the best kinda trip as the end drop is close to home! Extra parts for the future always excites me!
I assumed you bought a complete car and stripped it. There are lots of parts that would have made the trip worthwhile (bargain time). Plus I have some friends up that way.
I have set my vacation hours now anyhow, got to use them before March 31st. I hauled mine to SC on the same Dollie wheels from USCT. Could have saved you that cost as well, that would have paid the fuel bill one way! Looks like yours are brand new and only gonna be used to transport that shell to Craig!
----------------------------Glad to hear it arrived safely....looking forward to seeing AMD pics!
Hey Jimharvard,
Im also in the Pittsburgh area. If you would need some help putting this car together, let me know. Im in the crafton area and always up for working on stuff. Currently helping a friend rebuild the carbs for a 70 6-pack car on top of me restoring a 67 GTS and helping my dad with his 70 charger.

Racer all those years and the radio's there and bezel uncut! Who would have thought!
Trans/firewall junction to floor looks unmodified as well!
Glad to see this 440 come back from the racing!
Wow, I remember you talking about this car a long time ago. Great to hear it's finally underway. Congratulations!
yea... and the best part... they kept the optional "wood" ralley steering wheel! nice originals are hard to find ... and expensive...
