Couple cool pics of my Demon

-
I seen this thread a long time ago and forgot to subscribe to it and havnt been able to find it again until now.

such a cool build

Glad to see your still alive, when are you going to get back on the beast?

Probably nothing post-worthy until Spring, realistically. I have a few parts sitting waiting to be mocked up.

I have two big arse boxes of oval exhaust tubing staring me in the face right now though......:toothy10:

RJ,
you do what you can with what you have. You have a final vision for the car and you will get there. A lot of people watching our builds expect us to be building and posting all the time but they forget about the time needed to research and order and accumulate the parts and supplies needed to make all the other come to pass.
Keep the faith it will get done.
Andrew

Just found and read through the whole thread, Daaaaaaaaaamn man what a sweet build can't wait for more progress. Great build

you guys are total inspiration. i have a collection of photos from the builds so I can sift through the ideas for my own build. Ta very much!!!!

rjsjea I'd be interested in hearing about what your doing with the hood...I have been pondering the original hinging if i will fix mine so they work or make the hood flip in reverse or being completely removable by pins lol.

Dude
U got some skills
Unbelievable work, can't wait to see the finished product

Rick

By welding in the k-member did that make the engine install or anything else any more difficult?

I didnt realize this thread had been brought back to life....

Welding it in didn't make it any more difficult, moving it up two inches into the frame did......like 100% more difficult. Everything was then moved up/around/modified/down after that. In hindsight building a custom front suspension would have made more sense.

For those asking for updates......they are coming, still piling up $$ parts and waiting for some custom caliper brackets.

That is kinda what I was wondering... would you have gone with a mustangII style suspension or somthing similar instead?

Cant wait to see more progress!

Nope, wouldn't have been an MustangII style spindle.

Ididit's swivel ball floor mount. Took the steering column apart to make the shaft end right after coming through the firewall. Did the rest of the steering shaft and joints after the headers were built.

Older pic here, but the column is mocked up in it all the way to the rack.

Yes, I'm on Lateral-g. Door handles are a must for this car......just going to do something other than stock.
