I know that this is a constant discussion but with regular gas price now about $3.20 what do you think it will be by summer $3.50 - $4.00 more - less????

Filled a tank up @ $2.71 last nite but that was with a 10 cent per gallon discount so its $2.81 here in Fort Worth Texas.

$1.10/l Canadian for 87 octane in Smithers and it's been there for a year. Thats $4.40 a US gallon and the dollar is near par right now. Stinkin' carbon tax! Double dirty stinkin' Canadian politicians.

$3.40 - $3.60 / gallon for "premium" ( HA!) in good ol' Cali.

I'm sorry , but 91 octane is not premium !! Granted , that's the same as 96 MON octane , but still ... !!
Out of state , 93 octane ( 98 MON octane ) can be had ... for less !!

"Carbon Tax" ?!?!? WTF ????

3.21 midgrade to fill up my caprice. damn. its only 3.09 for regular.

Just dropped to $2.58 here. I'm still kicking myself for not buying that Flux Capacitor on e-bay last year.

Cheapest I've seen it around here is like 2.78. But that's all the way across town in Macon and I'm like 30 miles from there. I go to Gray and today I filled up there for 2.97. almost 20 cents difference in price, you can't tell me there ain't some gougin goin on. All the "in the know" economists are sayin $5 a gallon gas pretty soon......again. Kinda glad I'm plannin a slant 6.

remember back when "people" used to rob "gas stations"? now its the other way around

99.9 cents a liter here, that's just under 4 bucks a gallon U.S. for regular.

Went from 2.99 yesterday morning to 3.19 at noon. I say open the oil reserves and tell them to stick it up there ***! If it goes up like they say you can kiss the economy goodbye. No vacations, no cruising etc. It just makes my blood boil that they can get away with this ****. The best part right now they are not even offereing a up a reason! No hurricane, or any other disaster that can pin it on. Just because they can.

$3.04 here No. IL I heard it suppose to go down a little in January. Goes up when everyone is traveling. With gas prices it's demand only. doesn't matter that there is plenty out there, they just regulate the supply. It's all a game, a stink'in game.

Yea they ran out of excuses about a yr ago and now they JUST DO IT. You can now thank our President,Mr Obama,:thebirdm: for banning off shore drilling on the East Coast. I remember his pre election speech that we were not going to depend on foreign oil that we had plenty right here in the good ole USA... $3.39 for 93 octane here in Northwestern Pa and I would not be surprised that it will be close to $4.00 by summer. Cruisin season is going to be very limited I believe this summer.

It's my opinion that I wouldn't be surprised if gas reaches the $5/gallon by next summer. Between the lack of new drilling in the Gulf because of the current administration as well as the Quantatative Easing (QE) that the Fed did a couple of months ago = effectively de-valuing the dollar worldwide. With the QE, the Fed effectively printed more money making the value of the US Dollar less around the world. The folks pricing oil still want to buy the same amount of stuff for the money they are getting for their crude, so the price is going up, and will continue. I'm thinking that the price of everything will be going up soon as the cost of fuel rises = inflation. With Interest Rates as low as they are, I'm not sure what the Fed or Congress can do to keep inflation at bay. Some analyst's are saying they are expecting hyper-inflation because of the QE - we'll have to wait and see.
