Window Regulator rebuilding service

-
I dont know about restored. I've repaired a bunch of them and helped other members repair theirs.
What regulator(s) are we talking about ? Whats the fault ?

Fish, we are talking about 1971 Dodge Demon regulators. Issues? Not sure if they have any issues but didn't want to rebuild the entire car and put in a 40 year old regulator that would fail 10 minutes after its finished! LOL know what I mean?

I understand. The regulators in those doors without vent windows were more prone to failure. 99% of the time it's the drivers door regulator that fails. In most of those its the manually operated drive gear bearing assembly that is worn out im those.
Replace that with the assembly from the rear window regulator from a much newer model. Most of those are like new. Clean and lubricate all of the moving parts and tracks. Should be good for another 20 years.

Sounds easy enough..... truth be told, I'm being really lazy and thinking of farming out everything! LOL Must have something to do with me selling my Hemi Duster. I'm really in the dumps!
