I thought I would start a thread on model building of sorts....I'v been working on this for a while now, as some of the car shows I attend have an adult model contest, so I thought it might be fun to try my hand at it. I'm no pro at this, so tell me what you think. It's far from done as I need to add a lot more things, and want to weather it some, and I'm looking for some ideas, from those of you that build models. well...tell me what ya think, so far. ( I built this out of wood from scratch, with no plans ) oh, and please post your diaramas, and models too!

awesome!

Had some free time on your hands I see!!!

Thanks....well the theme here is because my father inlaw owned a chevron station around here in the sixties and seventies, and of course his name was Johnny. I decieded to mix his gas station, and a bunch of mopars because thats what I like. I know I still need to change the gas pumps to chevron somehow, and of course build me a few mopars to stick on it. For now, I just have a diecast car in the garage. I'm trying to find a source for large trees.

Let me congratulate you on your skills and patients and creative thoughts first =D>

Where is the night duty watch dog, and dog house
and I remember a rubber hose we would run over to ring a bell :coffee2:
An old bicycle next to a air line with a person airing up his tires :happy2:
Let's see =P~ A soda/pop machine

That is a piece of art :notworth:

maybe an oil patch where the cars pull up to the pumps? i always see that at the gas station. or the rack out front with the steel oil cans?

oh ya i almost forgot..... you need a garbage can over flowing with empty beer cans in the shop. at least thats how mine is. lol.
