Im getting ready to have my 440 Balanced. Seen tons of different brands out there. What would you run? It is a street strip car. 10.5 to 1 compression and a forged crank.

I don`t like dampers that possibly might have to be rebuilt, I`ll probably swing for the ultra overpriced S.F.I. fluid damper. I think it would be a good choice on a 440 stroker motor.---just my 2 cents-----bob
X3 on the Fluidamper.
Cool! Say James, what brand water pump is that? I might need a new one and like how that one looks....also, where did you get those long water pump bolts from too? Those look very sharp
Thank you. It's an Edelbrock Victor water pump, and ARP bolt kit.
Side note, may I ask you to please edit your post and take the quoted part of the picture out. I resized the picture to not take up so much room.
You might try askin some of the slant guys about the Romac balancers. That's one of the few companies that makes good balancers for the slant.
Romac is based in Australia. I don't know who makes the Pioneer SFI balancers, but they are manufactured in Australia as well! Could it be Romac, or is there another balancer manufacturer down there?
