I am waking up tomorrow morning and going to look at these 2 darts :glasses7:
The black 2 door runs and drives but bad brakes and floor boards are soft/rotted.
But it is a 225/6 automatic car, this will set me up with a 1963 225 cubic inch /6
to build and an automatic transmission. and that is what I am needing to move forward and take my time and build the 225/ put a mild grind yet good bump tick in it and put my new big valve head on it, it was shaved 40 thousands so I will deck/shave this block 50 thousands I believe :glasses7:
Looks like a great fall/winter project and have it ready for the swap by spring..
Looks like a good auto steering column from this 64 dodge also.
I will talk to him early tomorrow morning, he wants me to look at it before he gives me a price, so I will see..
Looks like I have a fun day ahead of me tomorrow :D

Good luck. I hope they are worth buying.
I understand that KK, It's not far away and it will be worth a look see.
I have to take in account that it will have to be tailored home and all that expense, he has this parts car he don't know anything about and a few weeks ago he had them up for sale for 750 for the pair, so you can count on me giving him an education on what they are worth to me. Looks like the black 2 door is a push button trans witch I do not want, I need to see if I can use a cable floor shifter on it if I can.. I don't know if I can or not yet :dontknow:

But this one could have a column shift auto in it, not sure, we will see

He said one is a push button. Also, he doesnt want Pushbutton. I imagine he would like the floor shift in your Cuda

I have got to get rid of the clutch and tree shifter soon, it is taking a toll on my hip, ankle and shoulder.

Mike, if you want an auto column shifter, you have to use a 66 column. 65 is different and earlier is pushbutton. Those cars will have plenty of good parts and if you decide to sell them or part them out you should be able to find a home for the stuff. Be cool if you can get the pair for $500, but the price you mentioned ain't too bad either. Good luck!

Yeah. If all else fails you can barter the good parts for parts you want/need. There has to be someone out there with parts you need and vice versa

If you don't have a trailer, I've rented full trailers (they call 'em "auto transports") from U-haul for $55 per day if you return them to the same place that you picked it up from. Winch them up on the trailer and make two trips in a day and you can get away with a one day trailer rental.

I don't see anything I can use for myself on ether of these cars I was not thinking or put in my mind that these bush button transmissions can not be operated by a floor shifter (cable shifter).. I am just going to have to wait for a 67 and up 225 and an automatic to get the crank and trans I really need/want to build, the 66 /6 crank is my down fall to put an automatic in my car... Patients I have :glasses7:

that black 63 would make a nice sister to Victoria .....we can name her Veronica and you can clean up veronica and drive her when Victoria is down for an auto swap ....then you will have two beautiful rides ....thats what i would do .......under a thousand bucks is a smoking deal for a 60s 2 door hardtop car with a parts car to set you up.

It has crossed my mind but I do have my Ramcharger, I can use the money I would spend on Veronica to go toward getting the later model 225/ and trans for Victoria, one thing I don't need is more early model /6 engines and parts, plus the floor boards are soft and rotten from siting in this wet humid air we have here in Arkansas
The 225/'s will not do me any good ether from everything I have learned about the early crank shafts. I feel so stupid some times, but I am glad I am still learning Rani :glasses7:

lol Well mike you should go look at that 63 . I think i can round up the stuff you need we caint be that far away from one anther . I know ive got a running 225 extra on a stand lol as for the trans im sure i can get the mate too it . who knows i could sweetin the deal lol (no cash tho) I aint got it lol
