MAN what a bunch of clowns. its toss up them or the @SS MONKEES. i hate it that so much of the non-car world sees them as Representational of the car people. shame you all.
 
I'm so sick of these cry babies crying over fake tv shows. Ya it's scripted ya the bets are fake ya the list is bullshit but it's still bad *** cars runnin hard on tv. Don't like the shows? Watch honey boo boo and the price is right. Those guys are on tv with cars they really built that are bad *** in the real world. It's freakin tv! Everyone knows it's not real. It's not your personal duty to expose the truth. Either enjoy it for what it is or change the damn channel. Nobody is forcing you to watch.
 
One of the things I find interesting is you just never know how a thread is going to go, no matter what the first post is. :D
 
yeah, sometimes these stinkin threads will get turned 180 stinkin degrees on ya. then ya wonder if ya did the right stinkin thing startin this stinkin thread in the first stinkin place.

Yes what he said! Its called entertainment. Besides do you really think people could set up a bunch of light towers , hang around and race all night without the cops showing up.

I'm glad that I can watch a lot more cars shows today then in years past. Plus these cars are pretty bad ***! Except for the guy running a Dart with a chevy motor. BOOO!

Freakin thank you!!!!! What was the muscle car era built on? Who's got the fastest car on the block!!!!!! American graffiti is a made up fairy tale movie and it's a classic! Somebody please explain the difference!!

I'm still surprised that Chris' car ran so badly, and Cody never had a chance against the Nova. When I heard cash days was back on, I thought for sure Jason would bring out the silver coupe, and possibly Clifton would have the Pumpkin ready. It's still funny to see guys I know personally on TV.

The only part of this show that I don't like is finding out Dominators Dart has a big block chebbie under the hood. Still a nice looking A body though.

with all due respect...... fast and furious took care of that quite a long time ago. the import tuner scene is the guys that gave the hobby a bad name. there is 20 of those cars to one of our muscle cars. its just tv man. its entertaining and anyone with half a brain knows its all staged. those that cant figure that out dont matter in society anyways. does everyone miss the disclaimer at the start of the show? it says in black and white that its dangerous and stupid so dont do it.

Staged it is...one of the guys who has had several different shows, and made his fortune form them, is supposed to be a master fabricator.....yet his desert truck had all the fab work done by a shop in AZ....and had his trans built at my buddies shop....

One of the reasons these "builders" seek out a TV deal.

They can't make money on the actual builds, so they turn to TV and get the merchandising going.
