An aneurysm busted in his head. Perfectly fine and boom he was gone. Sitting at his desk at his second job. He was 71 and worked 2 full time jobs to support his family. Has done this since 1976. 104 hours a week most of the time.

A great man, a great friend and an incredible father... So hard to lose him this way and this fast....

His name is Gary Waters in Columbus GA.. I am Stephen Gary Waters in case someone see's the obituary in the Columbus ledger Enquirer.

Take a moment if you can and tell your dad you love them.. Or just talk.. I wish I could.

Here is a picture of us in Skagway AK on my birthday in 2013... He sure did love that trip and I am glad I got to give it to him..

Prayers on the way for strength & healing :(

My heartfelt condolences. I lost my Dad in February, and although we know that we all pass sometime, I always expected Dad to be there. Its a tough adjustment, but you can do it. Great pic by the way!

Deepest sympathy! Been down this path, and it ain't easy.
Lost my dad suddenly on May 5 2004. Lots I wish I could go back and say, and I sure do wish he coulda been here to see my daughter who was born 3 years later. Not too many days go by that I don't think of him.

My condolences...my dad died of a hemorrhagic stroke (aneurysm that causes a stroke) - lingered for about 2 weeks after. It's a tough thing to lose your folks. Hang in there!

So sorry for your loss.
My Dad passed away a few years ago, not a day goes by that I don't miss him.

Sorry to here this! Sounds like a heck of a man, and someone to be proud of! My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Awful sorry to read this. If it's any consolation, at least he did not whither away slowly and painfully from some cruel disease. God bless yall.

...................Sorry for your loss, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers..............kim...........

That's the way it should be when persons love one another it has to hurt, separation is the cruelest part of life. But take consolation in the fact I'm 99% sure this separation is only temporary.

I lost my dad to the same thing, an aneurysm in his head.

He was fighting Lymphoma and high blood pressure.

Within an hour after finding out the bad news, I felt this "alone" feeling come over me, realizing that he's now gone forever....

I know exactly what you mean when you say to spend time with your parents and let them know how you feel about them....

Condolences to you and your family.

Thoughts and prayers going out to you and your entire family! He sounds like a great dad, and did a great job bringing up his family!! Geof

Very Sorry for the loss of your father. Rest assured, Prayers from here for you and your family.
