Man, that must've been a lot of work getting that IRS in. I'd love to get the IRS out of a newer Charger or something.

Working on rear quarters and new trunk floor. I just added the new rear sump oil pan that my wife bought me as a birthday present. Next I hope to clean motor and paint, then install the alterkation front. Posting pics is always an issue. Getting my wife off the computer long enough to get them posted is always a pain in the ***. If I didn't have an iPad I probably would never be able to even post. LOL. Thanks for asking. How goes your project?

progressing slowly. researching an irs conversion for my platform. thinking maybe from a chrysler conquest

Whats the track width on that IRS? You sir have just motivated me! Are you going to try anything with the front subframe for the charger?

Assume car is sold? Ever do anything with the front suspension in the car?

Think it would be possible to swap in the front k member/suspension, instead of the alterkation?

What backspace wheels did you end up needing? One of the biggest problems I see on this type of swap is the newer cars have a wider track width and wheel offset is the main way I can see to correct that.

I used stock 07 charger wheels all around. Fit and work fine.

Good to know. Think it would be possible to swap in the front k member/steering/suspension from the lx into a Cuda, without a horrible amount of work?

Welcome aboard newbie. Do you happen to like Spam? lol

If you are talking to me. Thank this site is full of great information. Second, if you consider my questions spam not sure what to tell you. Out of the 8 car forums I am on Ray is the only guy I've seen attempt this type of swap and successfully complete it. So of course I am very curious about the details.

No. The world doesn't revolve around you. This thread was started by the OP, Old Man Ray, whom I was addressing.

I was being funny welcoming him after such a long time since his first post, hence my "welcome aboard newbie" comment. I thought that was pretty clear.

The spam comment was kinda a private joke between him and me. He sent us a flavor Spam that we do not have down here a while back because we were talking about Spam on another thread. This is why each time I have used Spam I capitalized it, denoting it was meant as a proper noun since it is a name brand. Spam in your use would not have been capitalized unless it was at the beginning of a sentence such as this one <<<<<.

Over and out. Thank you drive through.
