its got big meats already.... 295/50/15 or L60-15 for us oldheads... can fit a 305/50/15 or N50-15 plenty big w/o the cost of backhalf...last i checked back half is @ 3500-4000 partial frame rails 1k by a reputable local mopar restorer.... will have the car down for 2 months.....

holy cow are you peeps paronoid. its an ad for the car...thats not against the law..not underhanded... the autofair was just in charlotte there were many people in the area that saw the car at the autoshow... they know what they would be dealing with and anyone who saw it and missed it can now call me and come see it and go over the car in a nice clean lighted garage and not on the ground with peeps trampling all over like when i picked the car up... no underhanded anything and i wish you would refrain from such accusations. i have a local shop doing the frame repair in a few weeks a guy that restores mopars...a friend of mine at a body shop...so you may all now put your hot potatoe and underhanded dealings comments away.:toothy1: geeeee whizzzz!

rustyrod. 1st off I am a former Marine... I know what integrity is and dont lack ANY of it...2ndly you missed the part that im having the rails replaced... i see what you could mean but there is no foul intent on my behalf, so please dont go there.

I had this happen on a 74 charger. Didn't notice it till i took the shocks off and tapped the frame by accident, paint came off, revealing a frame that had been filled with bondo over the rust. Right about my rear axle. I ended up parting the car out and selling the shell to a guy who tube chassised it and is racing it. Talk about pissing me off :violent2:
 
2 rails being peeled off a car this week, take to shop next week to have fixed...yay! great price...
i am happy.:cheers:
 
just an update... off to the chassis shop for rear rails on teusday.... soon wont be a garage art dart....

getting all the brime and flakes cleared away for the fab shop....

there is good metal under undercoating... frame rails and bumper boxes took the worst damage.... will post when chassis shop is done... ALSO A SIDENOTE BST equipment sales in DUNN NC who sold the car has stopped taking and returning phone calls after agreeing to pitch in and cover the cost to fix one side..... gary strickland thanks for selling me a problem.
 
heres a pic from their website... next pics will be them in the car!!! went with the new frame rails with a crossmember at front and rear to section the back.......... frame connectors tie to front frame.... eventually new frames in front from same manufacturer...

at this point i think i would have just back halved it. either way good job keeping it on the road.
