Big deal yankees have more banners then any team out there..and like Derek Jeter always said if you don't win it all it means NOTHING!!!

Cubs and Cards are back on this evening at Wrigley with Arrieta facing off against Wacha. Should be a helluva good game!
 
Not a huge baseball fan, but glad to see new teams in the race. Mariners hold a bad kind of record right now.....longest run without making the playoffs, how about that? Talking heads say they just won't field a team that can get there, get just enough players to fill the stands, buy the garlic fries, you know....business. If that's all they are doing, I can't get into it.

And the blue gays will be joining them soon enough,they ain't got what it takes to win a championship..as far as history the Yankees got a VERY successful one..the blue gays 2 lonely championships...lmfao
 
Cubs up 7-4, bottom of the 7th. Arrieta only lasted into the 5th inning, but he's allowed to be human once in a while. Wacha is out already, too. Cubs have hit 5 home runs this game, tied for most in a single postseason game, but they're the first to do it with 5 different players.

EDIT: Cubs have now hit 6 home runs this game, setting a new MLB record for most home runs in a postseason game. Score is now 8-4 going into the top of the 9th.
 
Jays force game 5 with a solid outing from the knuckleballer Dickey. WHY IN THE WORLD he was pulled on the 5th up 7-1 and cruising. I shake my head as to some of the "managerial decisions"??
Coming home with momentum and in the groove.

Mets are smoking the Dodgers 10-3 top of 5th.

I don't know what's better: The fact that the Cubs made it to the NLCS, or that they beat the Cardinals to do it! Go CUBS!!!
 
I'm happy for true cubs fans. They deserve that Cubs win. Now if only Grienke can get another win... Tomorrow's Mets-Dodgers game should be a good one for sure.
