One of our club members wants the club to buy straight brimmed ball caps for this year's car show. I think his only reason is so that his kid can get a cheap club hat. Has anyone's club bought straight brimmed caps for resale, and most importantly, did they sell any???
 
I hate them. I wouldn't buy one. They are so dang stupid lookin.
 
Make sure you pull it down over the top of your ears too!
 
It's just one generation wanting to be different from another generation. It will all come back around. I got a tube of brylcreem and just biding my time. OK, I'm not quite that old and it may have been my dad's but I'm still waiting damn it.


And almost all hats came out of the box semi flat. It was an art to get the curve just to your liking and not quite the same as your buddies hat. Never had to write your name in it. Everyone knew their own hats.
 
My brother can wear em and they look decent on him, if I wear one, I just look gay... I'm too redneck for a flat brim! Give me a tractor supply or Justin boots hat with a bent bill and I'm good!
 
Hay. I still use Brylcreem, dammit.

LMAO!!! Actually he it does look better on him, same way that short hair looks better on him than me... I can't do short hair, course now that his is long (longer than mine even) I'm sure the flat bill wouldn't look good on him.
 
I'm sure the guys who wear those hats could say a few things about the wardrobe of some of the crusty old hillbillies on this website.
 
I can't stand flat brims, and don't forget they have to leave the sticker on the brim too.
 
My niece says there are only three type's of people that wear their hats backwards. Catchers, Welders and morons. She asked her dad which one he was. He's a doctor.

But seriously folks car hobby is dying out and anything that can get the younger generation looking our way and taking into consideration restoring older cars if it costs us a hat? big deal, it's time to pick your b******
 
Mike Finnegan wears an almost flat bill, and he's cool, I'd work on cars/hang with him anytime!
