Hi all



I’m a Casting Associate in Los Angeles who is helping find people who want to participate in a Chrysler commercial that focuses on real Mopar lovers and owners.

We are looking for people who are huge MOPAR aficionados and have a cool story about their MOPAR vehicle, or about their passion for it. This is for a series of shoots we are doing for Chrysler towards the end of the summer. They will be shown at trade shows and on the website. Likely closer to the Indianapolis, California or Detroit areas but open to others.

Would love to hear from anyone who may be interested!

No further east than that? Don't they know about Carlisle? Biggest collection of Mopar enthusiast anywhere! Someone over there missed that the East coast is Mopar land and PA is center stage.
 
Have Chrysler donate a Hemi crate to me I'll video the install in my garage and drive it to shoot. That would be a better story than having a professional shop installing it and telling everyone it's made for the guy/enthusiast to do in his garage.

everybody is leery of internet BS.. it's easy to be skeptical - hell, it's healthy to be skeptical! A large active community like this is going to attract scammers now and again.. and I'm not saying this is one, but one post doth not a trustworthy member make.
 
The op has viewed the thread but no input. Need some proof please. Get on a plane this week and head to Carlisle you could film there and be done in a weekend.

Yes, I've viewed the comments. What proof can I send? There's a casting company name in the signature, look it up to see it's a legit company. I can't share confidential storyboards or casting materials on an open forum anyone can join. And if course I've just joined this forum, I don't own a Mopar so there was no reason prior to invade your guys community. I'm just trying to find folks who may be interested in participating. If you're not, no problem.

Trick of it is, one of the biggest cars shows of the nation is going on this weekend.

Fiat will be there showing their new rides as will most large vendors.

I understand that you're working with a time table, but the draw of everything from the '30's on up will be represented.

What marketing guru dropped the ball in keeping track of car show schedules?
 
Like the op said doesn't know about Mopars she came here to get info. On it. So far she didn't ask for money
 
Maybe the same marketing guru that decided that factory U bolts should be sold for $85 a set. Mopar of the new millenium has been about as useful to my project as the pizza guy or the gal who does my wifes hair. (zero)

I could not tell you that. I don't work for the company, we are an outside vendor. The shoot is scheduled for the end of summer, we don't have control over that schedule.

There's a huge Mopar show coming up this weekend in Carlisle, PA, Chryslers at Carlisle maybe you can find some nice cars with stories there...

Another major Mopar show is 2nd weekend in august in Columbus Ohio - Mopar Nationals...

Lots of good prospects there...

I've heard that from several people in the community who I've reached out to. The unfortunate reality is that they aren't prepared to shoot this weekend, I'm not sure the people in charge of putting together the campaign were made aware of these shows to be able to be out there to represent, and we aren't budgeted to travel across the country to do so on their behalf. Trust me, it would be a LOT easier to be face to face with folks instead of cold calling and emailing / joining forums / posting to Facebook.
 
fiat can stick the offer up their ***. chrysler now fiat has been the most anti enthusiast bunch of clowns for as long as i can remember..
 
For anyone that knows even a little bit about how Hollywood works. The majority of vendors are NOT affiliated with the networks. People like Desiree assist in wrangling talent and creating and promoting projects for the networks or customers to pickup. If you want to be in a commercial great, if not.. oh well get over it !!

Can you say "stolen Mopar"? What better way for a thief to build a database for stealing cars. He will have a complete list of cars to choose from, all the information about your car, where it is located, etc. Not even my wife knows what to do to start my car. Don't complain on the forum when your car comes up missing, because you basically gave it away. Food for thought.
