My good friend and I are closing in on retirement... so we started a 'hot rod' garage a year ago now. Up to this point we've just been working a few nights a week on these projects but this will definitely be a full time gig when the time comes. Word has gotten out and we have a growing wait list. For the most part it's just 2 of us but we have other friends that stop in and help with these projects from time to time as well.
We need a business name... something easy... the best we've come up with are these 2;
* West Coast Rod Brothers (we like 'brothers' in the name cuz our helpers are recognized)
* Old Bones Rod and Custom
We plan on making t-shirts and other goodies once we nail down the name (and artwork).
If anyone has any ideas on a name or logo or art work I'd love to hear it!

Cheers and happy new years to everyone!

When I hear "brothers" in a shop name, I picture ghetto cars on 12 inch daytonas and busted suspension

I submit to you....Fix It Again Tony's

What about "the office" ?

There is a bar in my town by that name
"Sorry hun, I'm gonna be late, I got to swing by the office"

I used a play on my signature, my business is named
"Desert Ride Custom Cars"
My Granddaughters and I designed the graphics to go on the card.
This after I found out there are a dozen or so "Desert Rat" business.

Ha! Maybe come up with a name that implies: skill,honesty,value, fun for the customer, etc????? Most of the younger crowd (with $) will equate geezer with senile, stupid, and where did I put that customers radiator!??????????????/ ha

How about this?

Like ->
“Old Bones Rod and Custom (Shop)”
I also like that “R.O.G.E.R.”

Hoser's Hot Rods. "Want more power, eh?"

'Jerry A' Tricks. "You bring 'em in and we'll make 'em old again!"

Great White Whips.

Nim Rods. "Always hunting for more speed" (definition of Nimrod is "A great hunter")

Ram Rods. "Packing power since 19xx"

Iron Bones muscle. "Brittle power"

Nimrod

nimrod - Google Search

Dictionary;

Skillful Hunter or inept person.

Might want to skip Nimrod due to current language understanding and useage.

I'll suggest my former "business" name that never got off the ground: "High Performance Madness". And the little mascot/avatar for the shop should be a small green turtle with headers doing a wheelstand or burnout (put the turtle on your work vehicle door beneath the logo/name of the shop).
