what is your daily shooter?

So I look the word "Hand Phaser" up, and when Star Trek is showing up I think it´s a toy. (I´m not in to this Star Trek thing)
Is this really a useful self protection device? Tell me more I you don´t mind...

Same as OP, Remington 100 that my father in law gave me back in the early '90s. That and WWII German Mauser 32 cal.

Oh don't worry. I have Mini Mag hollow points in mine. It's small, but it'll get the job done.
My Browning does not like those Mini Mags. Those little truncated hollow points get hung up on the feed ramp. Any other round bullet LR works just fine. The "self defense" handgun that gets my attention is the Taurus Judge. Unfortunately in Ca they have issues with shotguns with 4" barrels :rofl:which is basically what it is. So they're not available for purchase here. 5 shot revolver that shoots .410 or .45LC, first 2 in the cylinder shot shells, other 3 .45LC in case the first 2 don't get the attention they deserve

Just the fact that you had to look it up amuses me.

I have 2 of these little gems! My wife is 5'1" , 108,# and 70 yo. She has no problem shooting anything in the Judge. More accurate than you think too with a hollow point 45 LC. Just replace the stock grip with a Pachmyer!

Well, my daily driver is not worth mentioning, but I like my daily shooter...
I purchased this shotgun in 1969 and it´s still dependable. Remember this model was fairly new at the time, but I didn´t like the barrel that had the screw on type choke, so I chose two sets of barrels. And is it sweet to handle with the skeet barrel.
Since I have free range pigs, the jackdaws mostly, think the food is ment for them, but many over the years have learnt the hard way this is not the case...
What is your favorit when it comes to shotguns?

Have 2 gold inlay 1100's that I got from my dad.

Used to shoot a lot of clays back in the day.

My uncle ran a gun club so I loaded trap and sometimes got to shoot for free.

oh well, now that I see your statistics, I get it... You are like this Forum´s Clown, meaningless performance... well here is another "like" for free and no reason...

Just picked up this beaut while back home in Oklahoma for home defense. S&W model 66-2. .357 mag. Also found a great little Winchester model 74 .22 plinker rifle. Both are super fun to shoot.

The Judge is a lot more than 150 bucks. If I have to shoot someone, my gun will be confiscated. I don't want to lose "much".

Good point RRR. I guess I could keep the .45 cal black powder derringer loaded up in the night stand. That only cost me $89 to build way back in the 80s. If the target was missed, the muzzle flash would scare the hell out of'em

Daily shooter is a Sig P320 in 9mm . Made just a few miles from here . American made , American owner , American shot on American soil .

Don't drop that sig, they're known to fire if you do.

Thanks to the SAFE Act I'm not allowed any.

Former was Model 41P bolt action .22.

In my younger years, with the right rounds, I could stuff ten into the bullseye from 50 yards.
