Ok, what am I missing. I bought a console for my 66 Barracuda and with the help of the FABO community, I installed it. It must be right, because it works and fits beautiful. The new carpet set and how the console carpet skirt fits, is where I have my issue. The 4 speed console has a cut-out for the shifter floor bump, but the carpet doesn't completely cover the cut out.

On a "B" body, there's a cover for this, but I've never seen (or noticed) a cover on an "A" body console.

Please enlighten me

There is a laminated cardboard piece that screws to the the console opening that nobody makes. At one time there was a repop out of plastic, but those are long gone. I will see if I can find a picture of one that I have.

Does anyone have a picture of one of these?
I'm heading to Carlyle tomorrow and it would help to know what I'm looking for.

Here is a picture of the backside of mine attached to my console. Another pic of the clip and screw that holds it on also. I doubt you will find this part even at Carlisle. I have been going there for 26 years and have never seen one.

in any case... the 4 speed carpet set should have come up to cover it...don't you think??

Can you get a pic of what it looks like as viewed from looking in the drivers door?

Here are some more pics. Unfortunately the car burned in 2013 so I can't get any recent pics.
