No service, he didn’t want one. We will just quietly have his cremated remains along with my Mother’s placed in a small cemetery in NH where they grew up and were married.

They had been married for 57 years when my mom passed in 2011.
 
Spent some time today with a power washer and a really, really greasy engine. I bet it's been greased since the 80s because the grease is hardened and baked on. I didn't get even close to clean, because it needs a few rounds of degreaser.

It was really bad behind where the a/c parts were

Easy-off. Oven cleaner. Will harm some paint. I will say it does look a little better than the other day.
The easy off for cold oven cleaning.

I thought you'd mentioned that before. Was gonna send flowers to a service if there was one.
 
To help me mitigate the feeling of sadness, I felt compelled to do this image.

There are several major parts of it that are connected to happy memories of the past with my parents and grandparents. I won’t go into the details, just enjoy the image and the hopefully happy feelings it conveys.

I hear rain. Real rain, not the dribbly stuff we've had on and off today. Won't last long, the serious precipitation is about 70 miles north.

I'm sure that you don't mind getting a little dirty when working on the cars, it comes with the territory.... :D :steering:
