any one know the proper size of the O- ring all I could find is the paper gasket that goes under the ditributor base not the O ring that is in the grove. 1968 340

What year? My 66 had a embossed steel gasket if I remember correctly. @halifaxhops , am I dreaming?

Can go either way Mike. Depends on which distrib. I don't keep the gaskets around but have the o rings. You can get either at any parts store. Do not know the size off hand.
