I need to put some new wheel studs on my rear end (Small bolt) but the ones i have seem to not fit to tight. I want to get better ones, what is the stock Knurl diameter for Abody wheel studs?

I am installing a 8-3/4 in my Valiant, SBP axles. I pulled the LH thread ones to replace them with RH studs, as my front discs are all RH studs and I couldn't think of anything dumber than having three RH positions and one LH position. My used studs measure right about .467 or so, and the new ones (found them at Rock Auto) are about .474 or so.

you want a couple thousands bigger than holes so they fit tight and don't spin.....I drew mine in with impact wrench, lug nuts and washers until they bottomed out on the back side...

oh and they also come in different lengths.....so the longest stud you can get in without pulling the axles out is about 1-1/2 inches......any longer you have to pull axles to install

I understand that part but I see some are like .570 knurl size and some might be .480 or so. Didn't know if it could be to big.

well that is .090 difference which is roughly 3/32 bigger than the other one....I personally would not go more than .020 bigger than the hole
