This thing shoots .410 3" magnum or 2.5 shotgun shells as well as .45 Long Colt out of a 3" barrel. Imagine getting this load into your gut at 8 feet. Then imagine the recoil....Do these rounds buck that hard? You wouldn't have to worry about hitting your neighbor through 3 walls if you miss with the shotgun shells.

Oooh...Me likey.
Probably got to hold on tight with that bad boy.

load alternating shot and ball rounds..Court is now in session!

I have a friend who has one. The recoil is tame with the 410 shells.

BTW. PDX1 shot sucks in a gun with an extractor. Rips the lip right off of them.

How bout a low velocity hollow point?

Like .40 SW. Semi auto.

10 rounds, wont go through three walls, heavy impact. Average recoil. Magazine reload if needed. Tactical light rail to see your target.

My 5" GF with hands half the size of.my cell phone can make nice groups with one at the distance equal to our longest hallway.

Hell if you want low velocity, just get a .45 ACP.

Interesting!

10+1, must be a wide grip?

3" "match grade barrel"

I'd be interested in holding one in my hand, probably not CA legal tho?

They also make a 7 round that's a little narrower. .

60% off , where ? I remember when they could be bought for $75-$100 , everyone want s at least $275 around here now .
The 410 would b a good home defense gun with 4 or 6 shot shells in it .
I patterened a N0.6 pheasant load/12 gauge at close range , "11 feet" , the pattern was a little bigger than a tennis ball. Would want a little more spread than that No. 8/12 gauge for in house ------jmo

It’s a Taurus. Stay away from anything Taurus.
I have owned many many Taurus and have yet to find one that didnt function flawlessly. Granted some are a little rough around the edges may not be as pretty as I like or the trigger might not be as light as I prefer but they all function and for the price I'd highly recommend one for a carry gun or a truck gun. Or even a beginning shooter just starting out that dont have a grand to drop on a high dollar gun. As a matter of fact I still carry a Taurus TCP 380 everyday as a backup to my glock 26.

IIRC they also make versions with longer barrels.

One is really long.

They're neat guns, but the few I've played with didn't wow me. The buddies that had them ultimately traded them in. "But to each their own". Personally I like small packages that throw fat bullets. While some folks have a disdain for the little Bulldogs, I've put nearly 4,000 rounds through this one without a single hiccup (other than some blue loctite on the screws) since this picture was taken. It eats and spits out anything I feed it. ;)

Be well,
Pat

S&W 500 Magnum. If you miss the intruder will be deaf....and no doubt terrified. Seriously...weapon does not matter, the operator does. If you are not a good shot and capable of pointing a weapon at another human....and pulling the trigger... the "best" firearm is not all that important. I have 3 weapons loaded, in the safe. One is my carry gun, a Kahr PM40, A Kimber 1911...my wifes Raptor with a st of Crimson laser grips and the trusted Mossberg 12 Gauge. Years ago I was home alone. Was 1 a.m. and the dogs were freaking out. Looked out the front door to see a car at the gate, no headlights. Pointed the laser at the windshield, car hauled ***. Before anyone says...oh, maybe they were lost etc...I live at the bottom of a private community. Signs on both ways in. Out of the 4 houses that are occupied on my street I am the only one fenced in, with locked gates. Why would a person in need come to a house with locked gates and a fence, with beware of dogs and no trespassing signs, when not 300 feet a way there is an open driveway...and no signs warning of dogs?

I like my 1940s JC Higgins 12 ga double barrel. #4 law enforcement shells.
