Shocks came in for the Duster, and they look NICE!! .... but I'm in the middle of re-packing the front wheel bearings and putting front calipers, brake hoses and pads, (brakes will be done all the way around) on the '85 Ramcharger getting it ready for winter :) Time slips by fast... my oh my

Worked on my wiring a little today and tomorrow a little under dash Fab work maybe...
 
I can already think of probably 4 custom modifications I'm going to have to make to get that CT to work..

I don't know why I don't do it like you, 1 car to focus on..... instead of 4 classics.. LOL and shed and garage.... BLAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
 
It's funny how I can have a thread on an electrical thing I'm working on and get some help and support, some differing opinions, but NO drama...
I have most of the day to work on the car so on to the jack stands and out with the front seat....

Small tire class again at the strip Saturday, so I have no ambition to do anything to the Duster. As of now, I see me only installing the rear shocks and 2.94's. I see me running 13.4's with a high 1.8 60ft. I don't see me getting around to any other changes this year as I have other things to work on and only what, 4 more weekends that will allow me to participate at the strip? ...…
 
I think we're running deep into October here. Right now I got to head out to the garage and get my day in on the Duster.
(Enter Van Halen DOA as loud as you can take it...) Fabrication, cool gizmos, and micro switches!... oh man I'm going to have a fun day....:thumbsup:

we run all of October also, but with a special event here and there, I think about 4 more chances for me. There big TnT nights are Friday nights, but my work conflicts with this schedule. Oh, sorry, I'm not a head banger, so crankin' that music already gives me a headache think' about it :D ... good luck with your endeavors.. :)
 
Just a "crazy" thought.... could a stock 360 in a full weight Duster go 12.99 while being backed by a stock converter and 2.94's?? :realcrazy: Velocity Stack worth a tenth under the scoop? Thinking on buying one. Also, I have a 1/2 inch spacer to try under the carb.... Fall air???..... Easy stuff to try same day at the track.....

  • .1 - October air ??
  • .05 - 1/2 inch spacer under hood?????
This all equals 13.15...... Hmmmmm......... .16 away from 12.99?? Am I dreaming :D

12.99 and 2.94's ain't gonna happen. Did you get the shocks on yet ? only 4 bolts

Loosened a lot of other bolts on a '85 Ramcharger, and still turning bolts on it. But not the 4 bolts. :(
We'll see about the "2.94's & 12.99".... might need to swap heads to do that....
