i really wish they'd put some spaces between those. I hit that thing about 50% of the time when I'm trying to hit the Agree markyou gave his post an X, prolly by accident

Much worse on your phone or tablet.you gave his post an X, prolly by accident
the smaller wheel can cause that. as for weight, Allpar lists both the 170 and the 225 at 475 lbs in full trim, the later light weight intake version for the dart lite and feather dusters at 450 pounds
Good morning everyone. Been sick or something. Sitting in doctors office waiting my turn. Cant breathe and as an asthmatic, it escalates fast..
yeah, still though, I just don't see that much affecting the steering. Its also possible, depending on how old your torsion bars are, that they've started to lose some of their spring rate.Yes, I saw that but some lists a 20 lbs difference between the blocks, and some say the crank is quite a bit heavier too. So, I thought Allpar had just given one weight to make it easy. And I did not know the weight of the transmissions.

Hey for all you retirees the Eagles landed today!! (money in the bank for all you time clock punchers).
As you know or don't know got a house full with daughter, SNL, and grand kids in from Japan (Air Force) for a month.
Left the crew at home last night, and took Cheryl out to eat and a couple cold ones for my B-Day dinner.
Yes, we had a dinner and cake Sunday night.
Love them, but enjoyed some peace and quiet...lol!!

if the bars have gone soft, its gonna affect handling and steering as the spring rate affects how the weight transfer occurs. the could affect the steering. But what I would do, find a 16 inch steering wheel, put it back on and take it for a drive. Then swap back to the 13 inch and take the same route, see if that is the difference. Will that make it harder to steer ?

did you see the rest of what I posted? I was editing it as you quoted. The right side of the car is 1.25 inch lower than the left side, I am aware of that.

As for Eagles, I read in Norwegian media a couple of days ago that Norway has about 400-500 sea eagles, and in about the last 10 years they have found 100 dead ones that fly in the opening between the propeller blades of the large windmills, and get hit by them, and that's it. And now the governent is pushing for several times as many windmills to get enough electric power for the new electric cars, and boats and airplanes they plan to use. So, bye bye eagles and other birds. I am so glad they have taken pictures of birds so the children can learn about them in school, how it used to be in the days when mom and dad was using fossil fuel and ruined the world.

Yes, jack it up and put the stands on the chassis with the wheels hanging down. You need to take the tension off.did you see the rest of what I posted? I was editing it as you quoted.
Anyway, you can adjust the ride heights by side. There is an adjuster on the underside of the lower control arm, should be a 3/4 socket to fit it, you can adjust it up or down. Spray it good with a pentetrating oil like PB Blaster and let it soak good before hand. You'll need to raise the car and support with jack stands. Best advice would be to count the number of exposed threads on each side, see if they match, if they don't, set it to where they do and go from there.
I'd say get a cover on it, but you will still be able to hear it.Cool and misty, but at least not raining.

I would be more inclined to think some stuff is tighter in the suspension vs old worn parts. Wider front tires?yeah, still though, I just don't see that much affecting the steering. yep, its a process, up and down, bounce the car a couple times to help settle things before you measure. Even drive it around the block, then remeasure.Aware of that. Still need to have it down when measuring the height. The only thing I have done so far is to measure the fender on left and right side because it is so obvious that the car is leaning over to the right side.
Well, it is better it leans to the right, than leaning to the left. But a bit too much in this case. (Not politicial)

I don't think the 50mph winds they were expecting last night happened. I think the arsonists wait for those sundowner winds to go out and play so they do more damage.
