Anyone flowbench the trickflow 190 heads yet???

Trickflow- OOTB ready to go. They put out a great product. I help with a Foxbody that has went low 5's with a set OOTB and nothing done to them. It is a ford by my point is they keep it all in check.....

Flowbench is just that. A device to measure flow. It still won't matter if the rest of the combo is sorted out. Put those heads on a bad combo and it's gonna not turn out good. Same heads with everything sorted out and it's happy land. I don't see it turning out any other way.....

Of course you can do what I did back in 1990 and take it up the #$% on a set of W-5's because they were the real deal only to have boat anchors. That my side of the coin anyway..... Trickflow very trustworthy on their due diligence....

I'm just hoping that we keep from getting into a up roar and maybe the smart man that has done a lot of testing on thes head while give us more then the short answer!

The question you guys should be asking the people you plan to buy from is: does it make power????
So far the TrickFlow heads are proving to be a very well priced head that will make good power. It is what it is...

If you notice I was the only one who agreed with his post? In his own words- "it is what it is"...
 
Flow numbers are like cfm numbers on a carb. they flow what the rest of the combo/components allow. Heads and carbs.... neither one is forced induction :)

These heads will flow a magical number on a given bench, just like the magical dyno numbers that produce crazy horsepower. lol
I'm pretty sure the flow data has been verified by a few builders. The flow numbers Trick Flow provides are very close to what the builders have found.
I value the information these guys provide.

obviously you have a rapport with this person and they've done work for you and everything else. Me on the other hand he's just another name on The Forum. Giving what was obviously is opinion..
Ultimately I'm happy if you're happy...

Please quote me where I said I had no respect for someone.. I just don't know who the person is.. I was always under the impression that respect was something that was earned? How do I gain respect for somebody that I don't know... I'll disagree when I disagree and that's not an addiction it's... Well in Your Heroes words "it is what it is" LOL...

I’ll add this....... if I were looking to build a 550-600hp stroker....... the TF’s are what I’d use.

There is a whole lot of that going on for a while now between a small gaggle or members that turn most of the threads those members are in, into **** threads. The lack of respect, sense of humor, trampling on others with course humor, blatant insults, mis quoting, out right lies and a general sense of revenge is the new way around this board.
 
I for one have learned a lot about head flow numbers in the past few years. So to say flow numbers don't mean anything certainly isn't true. It's just like any other spec. A comparison. Looking at it as it makes no difference, you may as well not ask about camshaft specs, valve spring specs, what compression ratio this piston makes with what head........Everyone here in the mainstream of posters shares information. I have a couple extra added to my list now though.

I've got a 100 bucks to get you one, just need these other freeloaders to chip in. lol
When your done with the head you could send it to Pittsburghracer.
Hell lets buy two, we can auction a set off right here on Fabo to the original investers..
 
I'm a long was away from buying another set of head..........but at this point in the game......TF would be my choice if i was buying today.
I'm making around 450 now and if i was building another it would be in that range.
