Someone needs to snap this one up.
[FOR SALE] - 1974 DUSTER
I might have had a passing interest in it...until I saw the “go wing”.

I absolutely hate those things.

They just look like cheap slap-on aftermarket crap to me. They aren’t designed for the car and are just universally slapped on a bodies and b bodies and never look right.

If Mopar had designed them to fit each model’s body lines it would have been far better. Instead they just look like **** you got out of the old J.C. Whitney mail order catalogue.

Oh yeah...and what the hell use is a rear wing that is angled up at the front? That makes it a lift wing, not a downforce wing. The *** end doesn’t need to get lighter at speed.

Meh. Original rust and worn out suspension doesn’t impress me much.
But thats all i got...
Fargo is original rust, and clear is on its way to keep it that way.
Buddy has the file for the decals he cut, is going to make me a few stencils...a dusting of white orange and brown to put my logo on the doors..

Mmmmm...... pan fried backstrap, rice and gravy from the venison drippings.
Yeppers I love living in the country. Cant stand living in the city.

We actually have 5 acres down in the San Luis valley. Nice when you walk outside at night and see the milky way.

What makes you assume it’s an unrestored original? Nothing in the ad says that. Just a GT slant with extra parts. For $15k? Really?
Sure looks like it from here. 68 Darts are hot right now. I don't necessarily think the price is right but it looks like an grandma's car. A cream puff. Looks like a pretty solid piece to just drive or modify. /6 cars are good for that. Most haven't been beat to death if they have survived this long.

there's a lot of old cars down there too, waiting to be rescued.
I assume you mean here in Colorado.

That is where one of my Demons came from and where my summer road trips go around

The Demon was sitting on the ground with no wheels or tires in an OOOOOOld yard right on the Colorado, New Mexico Border

Question on Facebook: "Out test driving the 340. When I start off slowly from a stop everything goes well. As soon as it starts to pick up RPMs it spits and sputters some. Is that fuel air mixture or timing?''
Well, where do I start? LOL :BangHead:

Impossible to tell. White paint hides a lot of sin. It might be ok, but the trunk lid rust is inconsistent with the rest of the car. Besides, it’s only a slant with a worn out suspension and the interior only looks good in photos. Note the browned out piping on the seats. That interior is crispy. For $15k...there just isn’t anything special about it to justify that price. Sure, you can modify it but there are a lot better ones out there to do that with for a lot less.

Yes down around Mesita in Costilla County.

Well the simple answer is “Yes, it’s either fuel mixture or timing...along with a bunch of other possibilities.”
