I was within 24 hours of deploying there in Feb 2018. They called us up, got us thru SRP, got us our emergency passports, and had us staged near the airport. The next morning, POTUS cancelled our deployment and peace talks were scheduled

Not much, just dreaming about summer days when I could be under a car in the driveway, instead of being frozen.


This is except exactly why I like the blast furnace days of summer.

The snow is pretty though
 
Looked at a really nice truck today.

1983.. repainted and just cherry.


The only problem is that it's a square body Chevy with a 305 or 350ish kind of ticker.

I'm not sure i can drive something that foreign.

Ahhh, the good old square body Chevy trucks, had half a dozen at least, I really liked them, good solid trucks, but need at least a 350 Chev, the 2 I had with 305's were gutless gas pigs. The 350's were gas pigs too, but at least they had a little guts.

How do you know the difference between a 305 or 350??

Oh believe it, if it were a dodge truck I wouldn't even be thinking about it.

I just need a truck and that's about all I can find in a budget. I'm not going with a newer truck because I don't want a payment.

Older dodges are just plain hard to find.
 
IIRC the block has a casting on the side, similar to sbm, but it's been a while so I could be mistaken, visually I don't think there is any notable differences.

Meh, I can work in either, I prefer fall fit working outside, Dry air, cool temps. I was really really hoping to get the dart in primer this year but failed. We’re much closer though, much much closer

Yeah. Send some down here. It was pretty cold here today. Didn't get out of the 40s. Be close to 25 out here tonight. That's pretty cold for middle Georgia. Still want some snow.
